The 9'8 Classic is prefect for lighter riders who live near the coast and want to play in waves. Kids will love learning on this paddleboard. Great for scoring small waves for the more experienced and heavier riders too.

The rounded board profile and rocker line make it super manoeuvrable and easy to catch small waves. However the shape means the board doesn’t track or glide through the water as well as our Cruise range of touring paddleboards.

The 3 fin setup gives the board plenty of grip in turns. The board is 4.75″ / 12 cm thick, so thin enough to give you a planted steady feel, whilst giving enough volume for the more advanced heavier rider.

The 9'8 have been inspired by the classic woody surfboards combined with modern Japanese wave patterns. Smith & Muller inflatable paddleboards are made from premium quality materials throughout.

Our single layer heat welded drop-stitch technology provides an affordable lightweight and quality construction. The rails are double lined heavy duty PVC to provide extra strength and stiffness.

• Deck Pad: 5mm diamond grooved high density EVA deck pad for better grip and comfort.
• Travel Paddle: Adjustable 3 part aluminium travel paddle with polycarbonic paddle blade and quick release sliding adjustments. Adjustable length 160cm to 210cm. Breaks down to 80cm. Weighs only 0.78 kg.
• Leash: 10ft coiled deluxe paddlebaord leash has been designed to fit around the ankle or below the knee. The neoprene strap is 6cm wide for extra comfort. Built in secret key pocket.
• Dual Action Pump: 60cm single chamber dual action hand pump with pressure gauge. It can pump on the up and down stroke or just the down stroke. It also has inflate and deflate modes.
• Deluxe Backpack: The 88 litre backpack is 36" tall x 15" wide x 10" deep. It has a thick padded back panel and shoulder straps, a drainage hole, side straps to reduce its size and side pockets. The backpack is big enough to stow a wetsuit.
• Fin: Quick release 21cm swept back all-round fin for movability. No tools required to add or remove the fin.
• Luggage Rack: Integrated luggage rack within easy arms reach for stowing gear and clipping accessories to whilst out paddleboarding.
• Safety Tow Eye: Heavy duty stainless steel D-ring emergency tow eye on the underside of the nose. Just in case you get into problems on the water.
